General Info

• The competition will be a round robin tournament. There will be a group stage followed by a knockout stage. Teams will be distributed into 4 groups; the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter finals.
• Games will consist of 2 x 8 minute halves with 1 minute for half time.
• Games will be played on three full sized pitches; there will also be a warm up area.
• Teams must be on the water and ready to play 5 minutes before each game. Teams will forfeit 1 goal for every minute they are late; after 3 minutes a team will forfeit the match 3-0.
• Impartial referees will be provided for all games.
• Only regulation polo boats and paddles may be used, there will be no restriction on composite boats. Equipment will be provided if necessary.
• A marquee will be provided for spectators in case of poor weather conditions.
